We used the warm up to highlight the grammar points that are explained on the grammar/vocab sheet. We filled in the vocab sheet attempting to use memory for the high frequency words and looking up the rest.
For the listening, the first activity is self-explanatory. Just follow along with the flight attendant and circle the word you hear. For the second activity, (the one with Julie) don't worry about catching every word. Use the questions as guiding questions to help you seek the big picture ideas. You only need to listen to the first 2 to 3 minutes to answer the questions provided.
