Apologies for the tardiness of this post. The Tuesday and Wednesday were hectic days and I wasn't able to complete the post during my planning block as is my routine.
1. Français 2 – Clochette – le 10 novembre –

LE DÉFI
2. Vocab Quiz
We did a quick vocab quiz with the main purpose of verifying that several of the words on the list are already known. Since we have a short time until the test (11/18) I want to put the focus on the vocabulary that we don't know well and trust that you know the rest from past study or because they are cognates. Based on the results of the quiz, it is expected that every student knows the following words: La banque, La poste, Envoyer, La ville, Un euro, Une lettre, Un autobus, Une adresse, Un parking. If you don't know these words, you should make flashcards and do what you need to learn them before the test.
We will continue to work on the word: la banlieue which most people missed.
3. Histoire
We began reading (1st two paragraphs) a story about a girl named Christine. This story is the backbone of this unit as it puts our focal vocabulary and grammar in context as well as practices previous relevant language. Cliquez ici pour l'histoire.
4. Directions
One of the listening tests focuses exclusively on giving/receiving directions to get around the city. We began with 3 directions words that are useful: à droite, à gauche, tout droit. We used a map and worked together to make up sets of directions to get from point A to point B in the city. We will continue to work on this throughout the unit.
Tournez à gauche - Turn left
Tournez à droite - Turn right
Allez tout droit - Go straight
Continuez tout droit - Continue straight
See here for a map to practice with.
5. Speaking Projects
We watched some make-up projects or rewatched some for fun.
