1. Français 2 – Clochette – le 11 novembre –
Traduisez en anglais :
We discussed meaning of banlieue in depth. We highlighted the future tense in the challenge questions. See English wikipedia article for a brief discussion of "banlieue"
2. vivre notes
We added the conjugation of vivre to our vocab/grammar sheet:
je vis, tu vis, il vit, nous vivons, vous vivez, ils vivent - PP vécu
3.Speaking Project Make-ups - we watched some make-ups
4. Christine Story
We continued the story (see yesterday's post below for link). We read the 3rd paragraph and the dialogue that followed. We highlighted key vocabulary/grammar as we read together. We discussed the story out loud in French.
5. Devoir notes
We added the conjugation of devoir to our vocab/grammar sheet:
je dois, tu dois, il doit, nous devons, vous devez, ils doivent - PP dû
6. Parlons un peu
We introduced a new segment to our class where you, the students, are challenged to sustain spoken language in French for an extended period of time without the teacher intervening. The goal is to make meaning in French and not revert to English as a crutch.
7. Directions
We continued practice with our basic directions from yesterday. See below for the phrases and map. Please keep practicing!
