1) Warm up - students found these words in their Les Champs-Elysées lyrics:
in the rain - sous la pluie
I was strolling/walking - je me baladais
I wanted - j'avais envie de
and used them to write a mini-story/short paragraph of just a few sentences. For example:
Quand je me baladais sous la pluie, j'avais envie de danser. Donc, j'ai dansé. Quand je dansais, je suis tombée. Maintenant, j'ai mal au genou.
2) Petites Histoires - We read some of the short stories students turned in yesterday (see file below)
3) (2nd/4th block) Map activity - We used maps of Paris to make connections to the Champs Elysées song
4) (1st/4th block) Since a majority of students weren't prepared, we used time to finish the Speaking Assessments. Unprepared students will receive deductions for late work
