1. Français 2 – Clochette – le 12 novembre –
Traduisez en anglais :
2. In some classes we finished up our projects.
3. Christine
We finished the Christine story. We discussed it completely in French.
4. Qui/Que
We looked at examples of sentences using qui and que. These two words both mean "who" or "that". Then we tried to figure out how they are used differently in French. We learned that QUI acts as a subject and QUE acts as an object:
le chien QUI mange - the dog that is eating - (The dog is doing the action. - it's eating.)
le chien QUE j'aime - the dog that I like - (The dog is receiving the action - it's being liked.)
QUI is usually followed directly by a verb.
QUE is usually followed by subject then a verb.
We attempted to write some phrases with QUI and QUE. If you were absent, please try this and show them to me for feedback.
5. Voyage à Paris!
We took a quick trip to Paris today!!!! We explored the city using some maps. We found monuments and talked about how the city is divided.
