1. Fr 1 – Clochette – mercredi, le 20 janvier
In French: Write down 3 nouns that you know, 3 verbs that you know, and 3 adjectives that you know.
(We will begin having written Clochettes. It is important to keep your clochettes together in a folder or a section of your binder. Occasionally, I will check to see that you have them for a completion grade. I also refer to them in class to illustrate different concepts we are learning.)
2. 0-60: We learned 40, 50, and 60 today and took notes (quarante, cinquante, soixante). This means we can now count up to 69 in French.
3. L'heure: Since we know up to 69, we can tell time. We learned the easiest way to tell time:
Quelle heure est-il?
Il est # heures #. ex) Il est 4 heures 10 (Il est quatre heures dix.)
We will expand upon this in the following days.
4. Spelling Game: We played a team game based on spelling out words to practice the alphabet.
5. Histoire: We began telling a story together using the following structures:
il n'a pas - he doesn't have
il est - he is
il a besoin de - he needs (literally: he has need of)
